Shipping FAQ

Urban Gardener offers our own plant-care products along with a carefully selected range of products from partner brands, including Sol Soils and GOHA. Because these products may be fulfilled from different locations, shipping rates and free-shipping thresholds are calculated separately by brand or supplier.

When does Urban Gardener shipping become free?

Urban Gardener-brand products ship free when the Urban Gardener merchandise subtotal is $50 or more. Orders below $50 use the Urban Gardener shipping rate shown at checkout.

How does shipping work for products from partner brands?

Products from partner brands may ship directly from the supplier. Each supplier sets its own shipping rates and, when offered, its own free-shipping threshold. The current rate for each shipment is shown at checkout.

For example, Sol Soils products are fulfilled by Sol Soils through Shopify Collective. Sol Soils shipping is currently about $12 when the Sol Soils merchandise subtotal is below $50 and free when the Sol Soils subtotal reaches $50. GOHA products and products from other partner brands use the rates and terms shown at checkout.

What happens when my cart includes more than one brand?

Each brand or supplier qualifies for free shipping independently. The combined cart total does not unlock free shipping for a brand whose own merchandise subtotal is below its threshold.

• If your Urban Gardener subtotal qualifies for free shipping but a partner-brand subtotal does not, you pay only the partner brand’s applicable shipping rate.
• If a partner-brand subtotal qualifies for free shipping but your Urban Gardener subtotal is below $50, you pay only the Urban Gardener shipping rate.
• If every shipment in the order qualifies for free shipping, the order ships free.
• If no shipment qualifies for free shipping, the applicable shipping amounts are included at checkout.

Will checkout show one shipping charge or several?

Checkout will usually combine the applicable amounts into one shipping charge. Because products may ship from different locations, your order may arrive in separate packages and on different days.

Do discounts or gift cards affect free-shipping eligibility?

Eligibility is based on the qualifying merchandise subtotal shown at checkout. Product discounts may affect that subtotal. Gift cards do not count toward Urban Gardener free-shipping eligibility.

When will I receive tracking?

Tracking is emailed as each shipment leaves its fulfillment location. Orders containing products from more than one brand may generate multiple tracking numbers.

Where can I see my exact shipping cost?

Add the products you want to your cart and enter your delivery address at checkout. Shopify will calculate the current rates for each shipment and display the total before payment.
